Did you know that every intervention you make to a patient has a potential neurological effect, which you can test and document? Muscle strength can change immediately and dramatically if you do the right tests. But if you don’t test – you don’t know. And if your treatment immediately changes muscle strength, you have a very significant indication that your intervention was successful and relevant - as well as a patient who now really get what you do for them. This seminar will examine the neurological basis for manual muscle testing and present a screening routine as well as a simple concept for using muscle testing in your daily practice. We will look at a new paradigm for understanding injury, which is rooted in well understood principles and research and which offers a different yet very logical approach. This concept works regardless of your treatment technique. It is not meant as a ‘system’, a cookbook approach or the only way to get your patients better, but it is a simple yet hugely effective tool, which is easy to apply and integrate into your existing examination procedures.
The following Monday morning, you will be able to:
Immediately show the effect of your treatment
Hugely increase patient compliance
Get clues to help you find those difficult underlying problems – not just treat compensations
Screen asymptomatic patients and athletes and show them why they are seeing you for preventative care
Understand risk factors to injury and potential barriers to sporting performance
13th & 14th June 2026

This concept has been successfully used on athletes from a wide range of sports and performance levels including Leicester City Football Club, Leicester Tigers Rugby, England Rugby, Chelsea FC,Derby County FC, GB Basketball and the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. However, this seminar is as relevant for your non-sporting patients as your athletes and will be a hugely powerful examination tool regardless of your patient base.
This will be a very practical seminar and places will be limited.

This course has limited numbers due to its very hands-on nature, and I have had a lot of inquiries as to my next muscle testing course. This course has always sold out, so to avoid disappointment, please do book early to secure your seat
